ADS offers in-depth expertise to provide comprehensive Test and Evaluation (T&E) services at the product, process, and system levels. Our services are available at any phase within a program cycle and we can provide complete test services from concept through production (operational).
ADS provides critical testing expertise during the Conceptual, Design, Development and Operational Phases. We develop a test plan for each phase and as testing commences, we remain flexible in our planning to provide feedback and changes as testing progresses to adapt parameters and processes to guarantee a successful test experience for our customers.
In conjunction with shareholders and developers, we provide guidance and expertise in establishing the criteria for testing and identifying test scenarios for conceptual design, architectural and process trade-offs. Testability is critical during the conceptual design phase to establish a basis for comprehensive testing during the life-cycle of the product, system, or process.
Our team plans, manages and executes developmental tests – that is the verification and validation of systems, sub-systems and components – to ensure that performance capacity and reliability of a device meets certain thresholds during systems engineering process as the manufacturer asserts. Gaps in functionality are identified and communicated to the appropriate parties for next actions. Typically, Developmental Test focuses on meeting technical requirements within a controlled setting such as a laboratory. Rigorous developmental testing decreases technical risks and improves the likelihood of conducting a successful operational test.
Acceptance testing is a formal validation that the equipment meets the requirements of the client before being accepted and deployed to a production or operational environment. Working with both manufacturer and client our team defines, plans, manages and executes the acceptance usually with witnesses of interested parties. Although this test may not be as strenuous as Developmental Testing it does functionally represent and demonstrate the system is operating as required.
Operational Testing determines if a system performs as intended. Operational Test determines the level operational effectiveness and suitability of a device. Working with stakeholders, we plan, manage and execute the operational tests in order to independently validate the equipment is both operational ready and suitable to be deployed in an operational environment. Under realistic conditions, Operational Test focuses on verifying specific operational requirements such as if a system performs effectively, or if a system is reliable, maintainable and available.
Our test engineers use best practices to build tests that acquire data with integrity and deliver meaningful test results that can be analyzed and reported to decision makers. ADS offers the following services for each phase:
